Meet the Team

Board of Directors

ā€œI started East and Southeast Asian Scotland because I felt the absence of positive or fair representation of our community as leaders and conversation starters in Scotland. I spent my whole life being quiet about the issues I represent today (July 2020). If we donā€™t speak out now, then when?ā€

By being part of East and Southeast Asia Scotland, she is able to collaborate at a wider community level and create awareness of the mental health challenges faced by marginalised groups and support policy for enduring change for new generations. She also holds positions as an external EDI Advisor and an EDI champion to Further and Higher education institutions.

Undramā€™s vast knowledge and understanding of issues affecting human rights and migration both locally and globally offers ESAS invaluable strategic support, advice and consultation towards the work that we do. Members of the Team

It has been a difficult couple of years for the ESEA diaspora, and I've been so inspired by the passion & resilience of our communities. It's amazing to see the joyful connections and support networks for ESEA people growing stronger and I'm really glad to be able to chip in with ESAS who are doing incredible work supporting and advocating for ESEA people in Scotland
