ESAS provides East and Southeast Asian (ESA) culturally sensitive befriending services.

Befriending offers supportive, reliable relationships through volunteer befrienders to people who would otherwise be socially, emotionally, culturally, or physically isolated in Scotland.

We understand that many ESA people may not otherwise have the opportunity to talk about issues relating to racism, discrimination, intersectionality, homesickness, and other ESA issues in the Scottish or UK context.

We provide the space for you to be in the company of a befriender who deeply understands Scottish-ESA issues.
